Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

What are the lease terms?

What does it cost to move in?

$500 Security Deposit OAC and $199 Lease Initiation fee to reserve your apartment until move in.

Are utilities included in the cost?

Utilities are billed separately

What's your pet policy?

We are a pet friendly community. Breed and weight restrictions apply. Call the leasing office for more details.

What is your guest policy?

Tenants are responsible for their guests. Guests staying more than 14 days in a year are required to be on the lease.

Do you require apartment renters insurance?

Yes, renters insurance is required.

How do I pay the rent?

Rent can be paid online, with a cashiers check, money order or personal check.

How are repairs taken care of, especially in an emergency?

We have an onsite management/maintenance team that will be available to take maintenance requests and immediately address emergency maintenance issues.

Is there public transportation nearby?

The Draper Front Runner station is located 2.4 miles away from our location, and the Draper Town Center Station TRAX system is located 2.7 miles away.

How often does rent go up? By how much?

Rent could potentially be increased annually. The longer lease terms you sign, the slower your monthly rate increases compared to shorter lease contracts.

What is the parking situation?

We have an outside lot, covered carport parking and a open parking garage for tenant use.

Are there plans to update the building?

We are BRAND NEW and currently still under construction. The community will be opening in phases, with our first phase set to complete this winter!

Is there a penalty for breaking my lease?

From Skyline Peaks, you can take advantage of all the top local restaurants, golf courses, parks, and attractions. Whether it's shopping, dining, or recreation, everything is within reach.

What amenities can I expect inside the apartment?

Expect air conditioning, a fully equipped kitchen, and spacious living rooms. The focus is on making your indoor experience as comfortable as possible, so you feel at home instantly.

What outdoor amenities does Skyline Peaks offer for community engagement?

Skyline Peaks Apartments focuses on community well-being with beautiful landscaping, a host of amenities, and convenient exterior parking. We've provided renters with a dog park, a resort-style pool, three hot tubs, a pickleball court, and rooftop firepits and game rooms. What Does "Deposit: $500 OAC" Mean?

OAC stands for "On Approved Credit." The $500 deposit is dependent on your creditworthiness, affecting the initial cost of moving in.

What Does "Pricing and Availability Are Subject to Change" Mean?

This means that the listed prices and available units can change based on market conditions and occupancy rates. So, if you find something you're interested in, call us or apply today! 

Are There Any Additional Fees Not Mentioned?

While the deposit and monthly rent are specified, additional fees like utilities or pet charges may apply. Make sure to reach out to our leasing office so we can go over what to expect and give you a full cost breakdown based on your needs.
